ARTIST BIO
Mike has been playing live music since he was 8 years old. After playing in several local bands he enrolled in Concordia University, earning a BFA specialising in Jazz Studies. His extensive study of big band arranging and orchestration led him to many studio and live sessions.
Mike's studio credits include several rock albums, some educational material, and even a film score. Mike has played several times at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, and Place des Arts.
He has also participated in the Granby song competition, and has played many venues including the Club Soda and the Maples Inn.
Today Mike really enjoys playing with Roxfield Point, and is also having a wonderful time branching out into acoustic shows with special guest singers and musicians.
The variety of song selections and arrangements, coupled with the talented voices of the very special guest singers Mike brings to the stage, blend beautifully with the sounds of his guitar and make for an incredibly memorable show!
